Venture capital giant Insight Partners hit by cyberattack

Insight Partners disclosed that a "sophisticated social engineering attack" on January 16 resulted in a breach of some of its information systems; the firm engaged third-party cybersecurity and forensic experts, informed law enforcement and stakeholders, and says it found no evidence attackers maintained access or caused operational disruption, though the scope and any data access remain under investigation.
