AnyDesk says hackers breached its production servers, reset passwords

AnyDesk confirmed a security breach of its production systems that resulted in the theft of source code and private code-signing certificates; the company engaged CrowdStrike, revoked affected certificates, released a new signed client (v8.0.8), and advised customers to update software and change passwords while stating there is no evidence of ransomware or end-user compromise.
