Microsoft and Samsung addressed a bug in the Samsung Galaxy Connect (Samsung Continuity Service) app that caused C:\ drive access and permission failures on some Samsung Galaxy Book 4 and desktop systems running Windows 11 (24H2/25H2). Microsoft temporarily removed the app from the Store, Samsung released a fixed version, and Microsoft published a 29-step recovery guide and emergency out-of-band updates to restore Windows default permissions and resolve related issues.
