Microsoft warns that October 2025 updates can trigger incorrect “Your version of Windows has reached the end of support” messages on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021, and Windows 10 22H2 devices enrolled in ESU; the issue is cosmetic only, affected devices will still receive security updates, and Microsoft has applied a cloud configuration fix while offering a Known Issue Rollback (KIR) group policy as a temporary workaround until a permanent fix is released.
