Microsoft addressed a known Windows 11 issue where the Photos app could fail to start after updating to Photos app version 2024.11050.29009.0 or later on systems with certain CSP/policy settings; the problem was resolved in Photos app version 2024.11070.15005.0 (released July 17, 2024) and users can update via the Microsoft Store or apply a temporary workaround involving the latest Windows App SDK.
