Ransomware gang targets IT workers with new SharpRhino malware

Hunters International is deploying a C# RAT named SharpRhino via typosquatted installers that impersonate legitimate network-scanning tools to target IT professionals; the malware provides persistence, in-memory C# compilation via PowerShell, C2 communication with basic commands, and facilitates privilege escalation and ransomware deployment, with multiple confirmed victims and prior sightings by other researchers.
