Microsoft: KB5070311 triggers File Explorer white flash in dark mode

Microsoft confirmed that the KB5070311 preview update for Windows 11 can briefly display a bright white flash when opening File Explorer in dark mode; the issue also occurs when navigating to or from Home or Gallery, creating a new tab, toggling the Details pane, or selecting 'More details' during file copy. Microsoft is working on a fix, advises users to switch off dark mode until it is resolved, and the update also includes refreshed dialogs and fixes for other non-security File Explorer issues.
