LastPass and BleepingComputer report a widespread tech-support scam where fraudsters post 5‑star Chrome Web Store reviews for the LastPass extension advertising a fake support number (805‑206‑2892); victims who call are directed to dghelp.top to install a ConnectWise ScreenConnect agent that grants remote access and connects to attacker servers (molatorimax.icu, n9back366.stream). The same number is used to impersonate support for many brands (e.g., Amazon, PayPal, iCloud), and users are urged to avoid unsolicited support numbers and never share their LastPass master password.
