Microsoft: Windows 11 “invites” coming to more Windows 10 Pro PCs

Microsoft will begin showing Windows 11 upgrade prompts on eligible, non-managed Windows 10 Pro/Pro Workstation enterprise devices after sign-in starting with the April 2024 Patch Tuesday; devices managed via Intune, Configuration Manager, Autopatch, or similar tools will not receive these prompts. Users can upgrade to Windows 11 23H2 immediately or schedule it, while Windows 10 22H2 will continue receiving security updates until October 14, 2025. Microsoft is also force-installing Windows 11 23H2 on systems nearing their end-of-servicing date.
