Microsoft has removed the Windows 11 24H2 compatibility hold for devices using Easy Anti-Cheat after releasing KB5063060 (June 11) to address BSODs linked to ntoskrnl.exe/EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe, lifting the safeguard on July 24, 2025; some devices may still display warnings and older Easy Anti-Cheat versions can cause issues when launched within games. Microsoft also lifted separate 24H2 blocks affecting Intel Alder Lake/vPro systems (Asphalt 8/EAC crashes) and addressed holds impacting AutoCAD and Safe Exam Browser.
