Microsoft confirmed a non-security issue affecting Windows 10 22H2 in which the WinAppSDK 1.6.2 package broke Microsoft Store app updates/uninstalls and caused PowerShell deployment errors; the package has been pulled, workarounds are available, and a 1.6.3 fix is expected via Windows Update. The report also notes other recent Microsoft issues and reversals, including pulled November Exchange security updates that disrupted mail flow, fixes for Windows Server 2025 blue screens and install problems, and a new Windows 24H2 USB DAC audio volume bug.
