Australian IVF giant Genea breached by Termite ransomware gang

The Termite ransomware gang claims to have breached Genea (an Australian IVF provider) via a Citrix server, accessed domain and patient management systems, and exfiltrated hundreds of gigabytes of patient records (personal details, medical histories, identifiers). Genea confirmed the data theft, obtained a court injunction to limit sharing, notified regulators, and is investigating with the Australian Cyber Security Centre while the threat actor published samples on a dark-web leak site.
