Freedom Mobile discloses data breach exposing customer data

Freedom Mobile disclosed a breach of its customer account management platform after attackers used a subcontractor's account to access and steal personal information (names, home addresses, dates of birth, phone numbers, and account numbers) for a limited number of customers; the company detected the incident on October 23, blocked suspicious accounts and IPs, and stated there is no evidence the data has been misused while not specifying how many customers were affected.
