A fraudulent Ledger Live macOS application published on Apple’s App Store impersonated the legitimate wallet software and convinced users to reveal their seed/recovery phrases, resulting in roughly $9.5M stolen from ~50 victims across Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, Solana, and Ripple; attackers consolidated funds to several addresses and laundered proceeds through KuCoin-linked deposit addresses tied to a mixing service called “AudiA6,” after which Apple removed the fake app and KuCoin temporarily froze the implicated accounts.
