Microsoft says recent Windows update didn't kill your SSD

Although users—particularly those with drives more than 60% full performing heavy write operations—reported disks becoming inaccessible, Microsoft and storage partners could not reproduce an increase in failures in telemetry or internal testing; they are collecting reports and investigating while advising users to avoid large write operations on nearly-full drives until the root cause is identified.
