Panda Restaurants discloses data breach after corporate systems hack

Panda Restaurant Group disclosed a March 2024 security breach that impacted corporate systems and resulted in unauthorized access to personal information of current and former associates (including names and driver’s license/non-driver ID numbers). The company secured its environment, engaged third-party cybersecurity experts and law enforcement, completed a review of impacted data on April 15, and has not publicly disclosed the total number of affected individuals; guest and in-store systems were reported as unaffected.
