AT&T began refusing incoming mail connections from Microsoft 365 servers after detecting an unusually high volume of spam from Microsoft’s platform, causing delivery delays and rejected emails to att.net, sbcglobal.net, and bellsouth.com addresses; numerous user reports and SMTP logs corroborate the issue, and AT&T says it is working with Microsoft to mitigate while Microsoft and Google had not provided detailed public comment.
