Federal prosecutors detailed an ATM jackpotting campaign where perpetrators physically accessed ATMs, installed Ploutus malware (via removed or replaced hard drives and external devices), and caused machines to dispense all cash until exhausted; convictions, sentences, restitutions, and related multi-state indictments were reported involving members of a Venezuelan gang across several U.S. states.
