Volvo Group North America disclosed that nearly 17,000 customers and staff had personal data exposed as a result of a large Conduent breach (Oct 21, 2024–Jan 13, 2025) in which attackers stole SSNs, names, dates of birth, insurance and medical information; the report also references a separate Miljödata supplier breach affecting Volvo employees and a prior 2021 R&D data theft at Volvo Cars.
