Microsoft Office LTSC 2024 preview available for Windows, Mac

Microsoft announced the commercial preview of Office LTSC 2024 for Windows and macOS, a volume-licensed, perpetual offering with five years of support that includes performance, security, and accessibility improvements, enhanced Outlook meeting and search capabilities, and new Excel features like Dynamic Charts and Arrays. The suite removes Publisher and ships without Teams (now a separate download), and supports deployment via Click-to-Run on Windows and pkg on Mac, with guidance provided for installation and activation. It will run in parallel with Windows 11 LTSC, supports mixed environments with Microsoft 365 Apps, and a separate Office 2024 for home users will also be released later this year.
