Windows 11 24H2 upgrades blocked on some PCs due to audio issues

Microsoft placed a safeguard hold (ID 54283088) on Windows 11 24H2 upgrades for PCs with Dirac audio software due to a compatibility issue with cridspapo.dll that breaks audio device detection across integrated speakers and Bluetooth peripherals. Users are advised not to manually upgrade until the manufacturer releases a fixed driver that will be delivered via Windows Update, after which the hold will be lifted; a separate upgrade block for Auto HDR-related game freezes was also noted.
