Germany seizes 47 crypto exchanges used by ransomware gangs

German law enforcement (BKA) seized 47 cryptocurrency exchange services used to launder proceeds for cybercriminals—including ransomware groups, darknet dealers, and botnet operators—and redirected the seized sites to an "Operation Final Exchange" portal. Authorities reported they obtained development, production and backup servers plus transaction, registration and IP data for large platforms (examples include Xchange.cash, 60cek.org, Bankcomat.com), which is expected to enable future investigations; no arrests have been reported yet, and operators face money laundering and illegal trade charges under German law.
