US seizes over 1,000 websites in FIFA World Cup piracy crackdown

Authorities and industry partners warned that these illicit streams and cloned FIFA sites expose consumers to fraud, data theft, and malware, and the actions follow related takedowns and warnings from the FBI and Mexican authorities.
