Chinese hackers linked to cybercrime syndicate arrested in Singapore

Seven individuals (six Chinese nationals and one Singaporean) were arrested in Singapore in coordinated raids tied to an alleged global cybercrime syndicate; law enforcement seized electronic devices with hacking tools (including PlugX-related controller software), unauthorized personal data, server credentials, S$ cash and USD cryptocurrency. The operation involved around 160 officers and the evidence indicates capability for malware-driven intrusions and data theft, but authorities have not publicly attributed the suspects to a specific APT and investigations are ongoing.
