Infinite Campus warns of breach after ShinyHunters claims data theft

Infinite Campus notified customers that an attacker accessed an employee Salesforce account and attempted extortion; the data extortion group ShinyHunters claimed the theft and threatened to publish stolen records. Infinite Campus says the compromised data appears to be primarily publicly available staff directory information, that no customer databases were accessed, and has disabled some customer-facing services while investigating and notifying potentially impacted districts.
