Social Media Nexus Spreads Color Prediction Games that Defraud Users

CloudSEK researchers uncovered a global 'Color Prediction' gambling scam that lures users via dozens of websites, social media channels and APKs—often impersonating retail brands and using legitimate payment gateways—to collect deposits and PII, block withdrawals, and defraud victims; the infrastructure includes ~60 domains, hundreds of social handles, APKs using the XUpdate framework and hosting linked to Alibaba Cloud, and evidence of organized promotion via influencers and Telegram channels.
