How CloudSEK is defending ourselves against a massive DDoS attack

CloudSEK experienced a large-scale DDoS campaign beginning May 31, 2023, receiving ~1.62 billion requests (≈4 TB) from ~6.38 million unique IPs concentrated in India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and the UAE; the team mitigated the attack using WAF rules (blocking Android-emulator user agents), URI and query-pattern blocking, traffic filtering and infrastructure scaling, and highlights SVigil for supply-chain/infrastructure visibility to reduce future DDoS risk.
