Polish Team Wins 3rd Place in NATO Locked Shields Exercise

This document reports that the Polish team, including CERT Polska members, placed third in the NATO Cyber Defence Exercise Locked Shields 2015, behind NATO CIRC and Estonia. The exercise simulated defending a fictitious country’s complex infrastructure—including ISPs, a power plant, office networks, voice services, and a drone command center—against diverse attacks such as DDoS, BGP hijacking, preinstalled backdoors, and MITM, with added focus on IPv6 and cross-team coordination.
