VirusTotal Inside the Agent Loop

This post outlines two community projects that integrate VirusTotal into AI agent workflows: `vt-sentinel` (watches agent directories and scans files with configurable upload and quarantine policies) and `hermes-virustotal` (a Hermes plugin that records hashes, injects compact advisories into model context, and exposes explicit vt tools). Both use the VTAI API, emphasize privacy-aware upload rules and presets, and are released as MIT-licensed experiments rather than official products.
