Unifying threat context with VirusTotal connectors

VirusTotal announces new Connectors that unify third-party threat intelligence—initially from Mandiant, MISP, and Splunk—directly into VirusTotal IoC reports to accelerate investigations with context such as campaigns, actor attributions, MISP event data, and enterprise detections. After configuring provider API authentication (BYO license), VirusTotal automatically retrieves and surfaces this context as the first section of the Detection tab for the user’s organization; API access is not yet available. The post also signals upcoming providers and a potential community framework for building and contributing additional connectors.
