Introducing RAMPART and Clarity: Open source tools to bring safety into Agent development workflow

Microsoft announces two open-source tools—RAMPART, a pytest-like framework for encoding adversarial and regression tests for agentic AI (focused on prompt-injection and probabilistic behavior), and Clarity, a structured tool to guide teams through requirements, failure analysis, and decision tracking. The tools aim to make AI safety a continuous engineering practice by turning red-team findings into reproducible tests and surfacing design assumptions early in development.
