Access Fabric: A modern approach to identity and network access

This document promotes a unified Access Fabric approach that integrates identity, device, network, application, and data signals to continuously assess risk and enforce real-time, Zero Trust–aligned access policies across sessions. It argues that fragmented identity and network tools create exploitable gaps—amplified by AI-driven threats—and that a contextual, connected, and continuous policy engine can mitigate risk by dynamically adjusting access based on changing conditions such as device health and network context, improving both security and user experience.
