Amazon deletes devs’ tokenmaxxing leaderboard to minimize costs

Amazon discovered employees were artificially inflating usage metrics for its Kiro AI tool by creating agents to perform unnecessary tasks in order to climb an unofficial leaderboard called Kirorank; the tracker has been taken offline. This report describes internal misuse of an AI-usage metric, not a security breach or cyber attack.
