The BCG report "AI at Work: Strategy Matters More Than Tools," based on a global survey of 11,749 respondents across 14 markets, finds many employees lack guidance on using AI tools; firms have rapidly provided tools but have not redesigned work processes around them. BCG warns that time savings from AI will not automatically translate into value unless organizations provide clear direction on how saved time should be used to improve customer service, quality, innovation, or throughput.
