Google, Microsoft offer specs to help you prove your AI is behaving nicely

The Appia Foundation, hosted by the Linux Foundation’s Joint Development Foundation and involving members such as Arm, Ericsson, Mastercard, Mitsubishi Electric, Omron, Schneider Electric, and Siemens, has defined a framework with Requirements, Guidance, and Assessment Enablement layers to help organizations interpret and apply standards; it clarifies that these criteria are not formal standards (though some may evolve into standards) and aims to expand its advisory board to include academics and government.
