The Agentic AI Tsunami is Here: Is Your Legacy IAM Sinking or Swimming?

This article argues that the rise of agentic AI—autonomous, non-human agents operating at machine speed—creates fundamental gaps in traditional IAM systems and demands modern, cloud-native, microservices-based identity platforms that support short-lived, tightly scoped tokens, continuous risk assessment, traceability across agent workflows, and in-country deployment options to meet regulatory requirements such as DORA and the EU AI Act.
