Fake Dating App Used to Distribute Targeted Android Spyware

A targeted mobile spyware campaign used a fraudulent Android "dating" app distributed through social media and messaging to socially engineer victims into granting broad permissions. The malicious app installs persistent surveillance malware capable of exfiltrating SMS, contacts, media, location, and credentials, highlighting risks from malicious app distribution and permission misuse.
