Zimperium users are safe from Gooligan

Zimperium describes the Gooligan Android malware family that has compromised over 1 million Google accounts and can fully compromise devices by exploiting two older Android vulnerabilities (CVE-2013-6282 and CVE-2014-3153). The vendor asserts its z9 detection engine identified the threat without signature updates, claims Zimperium customers are not impacted, and recommends deploying mobile threat defense because EMM alone cannot detect or remediate such threats.
