European law enforcement, coordinated by Eurojust, executed raids across three Ukrainian cities to dismantle a call-center fraud ring alleged to have stolen more than €10M; the action day resulted in 72 searches, 12 arrests, 45 identified suspects, and seizure of computers, phones, forged IDs, cash, vehicles and weapons. The network recruited around 100 people from multiple countries to perform roles including scam calls, forging documents, and cash collection, using remote-access software and social-engineering to harvest bank credentials or direct victims to transfer funds to accounts controlled by the criminals.
