OpenAI To Extend Cyber Program to Government Agencies

OpenAI published a roadmap titled “Cybersecurity in the Intelligence Age” outlining plans to expand its Trusted Access for Cyber (TAC) program to governments (noting the US and allies) and a broader set of cyber defenders — including industry actors, major cybersecurity platforms, cloud hyperscalers, infrastructure providers, and critical infrastructure operators — while committing to enhance internal red-teaming, misuse detection, and collaboration on threat models and real-time intelligence sharing.
