Spanish Police Arrest Suspected NATO and US Army Hacker

Spanish police and the Civil Guard arrested a suspect in Calpe accused of carrying out more than 40 cyber-attacks last year against Spanish government bodies, NATO, the US military and ICAO; investigators recovered computer equipment and identified over 50 cryptocurrency accounts. Authorities allege the individual sold or leaked sensitive internal and personal data on underground forums (likely BreachForums) using anonymizing messaging/browsing tools, and charged him with discovery and disclosure of secrets, illegal access, computer damage and money laundering after international collaboration with CCN, Europol and US HSI.
