Ransomware Gang Publishes Stolen Genea IVF Patient Data

Sensitive patient records from Australian IVF clinic Genea were published online by the Termite ransomware group after an intrusion that accessed medical diagnoses, treatments, pathology results and clinicians' notes; Genea obtained a court-ordered injunction, warned patients about phishing and identity theft risks, and is engaging with the OAIC and ACSC. Threat intelligence links Termite to multiple recent victims and suggests it may be a rebranding of the Babuk ransomware gang.
