Discord Reveals Data Breach Following Third-Party Compromise

Discord disclosed that an unauthorized party targeted a third‑party customer support provider to access and exfiltrate limited customer and corporate data — including names, usernames, email/contact details, partial billing information, support messages, IP addresses and a small number of government ID images — in an apparent ransom/extortion attempt; Discord revoked the provider’s access, is contacting affected users and has notified law enforcement and data protection authorities.
