Nissan: Thousands Impacted By Red Hat Breach

Nissan reported that 21,000 customers had personal data exposed following a Red Hat breach: the extortion group 'Crimson Collective' claimed to have stolen ~570GB from Red Hat GitLab repos — including Customer Engagement Reports, authentication tokens and database URIs — which reportedly implicated numerous large organizations; Nissan says no card details were leaked and is contacting affected customers while regulators have been notified.
