Progress Software Warns of "External Security Threat" to ShareFile

Progress Software disclosed a credible external security threat targeting ShareFile Storage Zone Controllers, temporarily disabling access and asking customers to power down controllers while internal and external investigations proceed; the company reports no evidence of unauthorized access or active threats so far, and access to the cloud service was partially restored pending completion of the investigation.
