New AI Security Charter Backed by Over 70 Cyber Firms

CREST published an AI Charter, endorsed by 73 founding signatories, establishing nine principles for the responsible use of AI in cybersecurity—covering accountability, transparency, documentation, control, data handling, security, secure development, supply chain assurance, and resilience—with the aim of promoting self-regulation, harmonized standards, and independent assessment frameworks across the industry.
