Odido Breach Impacts Millions of Dutch Telco Users

Odido has disclosed a major breach of its customer contact system that may have exposed personally identifiable information — including names, addresses, IBANs, dates of birth and passport/driver's license numbers — for up to 6.2 million customers; the company says operational services were not impacted, passwords and billing/call data were not taken, and it is contacting affected customers while engaging external cybersecurity experts and warning users to watch for phishing and fake invoices.
