Dolphin X is a newly discovered Windows infostealer and RAT that uses an AI-powered profiling system to automatically rank infected machines by value; it targets over 300 applications and harvests browser logins, wallets, SSH keys, cloud tokens and DevOps credentials, enabling attackers to prioritize high-value victims at scale. Varonis researchers analyzed the operator panel, observed daily ranking summaries for attackers, and recommend keeping long-lived credentials off disk and focusing detection on behavior rather than file signatures.
