Google Introduces Unique AI Agent Identities in New Gemini Enterprise Platform

Google Cloud announced the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform and related security capabilities at Cloud Next 26, introducing cryptographic agent IDs, an Agent Registry and Agent Gateway, Model Armor guardrails, Agent Anomaly Detection and an Agent Security dashboard integrated with Security Command Center. The release also includes preview security agents for threat hunting and detection engineering, a dark web intelligence feature in Google Threat Intelligence, new TPU chips for AI, and a $750M partner fund to accelerate agentic AI adoption; the report is a product/security features announcement rather than a description of a cyber incident.
