Only 24% Of organizations Test Identity Recovery Every Six Months

Quest Software's global survey of 650 IT and security practitioners finds many organizations are underprepared for identity-focused cyber-attacks: only 24% test identity disaster recovery every six months while 24% never test, and nearly 80% remain vulnerable due to complexity and insufficient tools. The report highlights growing concern around non-human and third-party identities, rising ITDR adoption (57%) and belief in AI's role (79%), but warns that most efforts focus on detection rather than a full lifecycle approach including response and recovery.
